Senior Technical Product Specialist

Atlassian's Enterprise Support team is seeking a customer champion to drive agreement and improvement across product and operations teams. This role requires advanced support and product expertise for our largest customers, as well as the ability to act as a lead-level III support engineer on important customer accounts.You will work closely with other team members in Atlassian offices globally to enhance our support capabilities, capacity, and quality for our largest customers. Key responsibilities include performing root cause analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting across multiple Atlassian products, as well as participating in customer-facing calls to communicate progress updates, action plans, and resolution details.Key Qualifications8+ years of experience in Java support, software services, and system administration for a large end-user community.Experience with operating systems (e.g. Linux, OS X, and Windows)Subject Matter Expertise in multiple Atlassian products, including identifying knowledge opportunities when new technologies are introduced and sharing knowledge within the team (Synchrony, AWS, Azure)Communicating complex technical information to internal stakeholders and customers at an executive levelSolving complex tickets, summarizing causes, recommending solutions, and escalating when necessaryCoaching others on technical, soft skills, and behavioral interviewsAssisting global teammates in driving long-running tickets to resolution in areas of expertiseChallenging others to provide context and rise to challenging situationsExperience with networks and technologies, including proxies, load balancers, LDAP, Active Directory, SSLUnderstanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, J Boss)SQL database management and escalation handlingEnterprise customer experience
