We are hiring for SCM Indirect Sourcing.


Title: Engineer / Sr. engineer

Job Location: Hosur

Industry Preferred: EMS / Automobile

Exp Level: 2 - 6


Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing activities for indirect materials, including production and process consumables, MRO items, and facility-related services.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply continuity.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, RFQs/RFPs, and commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with Incoterms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and finance to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing within the EMS or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production/process consumables and general sourcing processes.
  • Proficiency in Incoterms, contract management, and commercial negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).



Preferred Skills

  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global sourcing environment.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and supplier risk management practices.
