Job Summary:As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery to customers by managing raw material requirements for production across the globe. This includes creating production schedules, assessing material needs, and implementing digital solutions using SAP.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and available resourcesAudit material requirements monthly and ensure timely availability of Raw materialsDevelop efficient distribution plans for inventory movement and allocate inventory to customer ordersEvaluate cost reduction opportunities through value engineering and cost benefits analysisMonitor consumption patterns of RM and take appropriate actions in raw material planningEnsure no detention and demurrage incurred on raw material by efficient planning and schedulingDetermine optimal inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progressWork with sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams for alignment and effective supply chain operationsResolve customer service deficiencies through root cause analysisTrack and communicate key performance metrics of the teamConvert slow-moving inventory into valuesAnalyze demand and supply numbers statistically to create meaningful action plansDigitize processes and implement SAP-based digital solutions related to production planning and MRP functionsRequirements:Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesBenefits:This role offers a dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
