Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Engineer at WebBuddy. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality engineering processes, conducting quality control and assurance activities, and ensuring product quality and management on a daily basis.
Manual (QA):
Testing Experience with a good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle including Test
Strategy, Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log,
Test results, Test Traceability Matrix, and Test Metrics.
Handle multiple project releases.
Strong Leadership, presentation and communication skills Strong understanding of Agile
methodology.
Hands-on experience in Functional, System and Regression Testing, Excellent bug writing
skills.
Hands-on experience with Mobile and Web Applications Testing.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like J-meter. The candidate should be
well versed in API testing.
Understanding of x-code, ADB, DDMS, and Studio is a must.
Mentor team members in adopting technologies, tools and best practices ensure effective
work prioritization and meeting sprint/delivery deadlines.
Status reporting and timely risk and issue communication.
Assist in achieving a good level of teamwork, highlighting and controlling issues in good
time and proactively suggesting solutions to resolve problems.tools and techniques
Automation (QA):
Must have exposure to testing automation tools like Appium, Selenium, etc.
Should have working hands-on DDF, Hybrid, POM frameworks.
Expertise in creating Xpath & using locators.
We should be able to setup automation environments on all platforms.
Having Knowledge of Maven,TestNg, Log4j, Reporting in Automation.
Expertise in working on Mobile Apps Manually as well as in Automation.
