GS-CS AdvisorExposure to global operations, processes and stakeholdersWork in a collaborative and fast-paced environmentOpportunity to drive improvement and standardization​Based in Gurugram, HaryanaWe are looking for an Invoicing Specialist to perform the Contract to Cash (CTC) activities for Simandou.The Group Services- Commercial Services team is responsible for all revenue accounting for iron ore, salt, Copper, bauxite and alumina sales for Pacific region. This includes ensuring that appropriate credit risk mitigation tools are in place, appropriate shipping-related documents are produced, and that commercial invoices and other documents are produced to banks/customers in a timely, accurate manner to ensure the maximization of cash flow.This role is a great opportunity for a professional who is eager to progress into a role with end-to-end accountability and responsibility for our CTC process and has the experience in supporting the development of new KPIs, system enhancements, and process automation. Working within the Commercial Services Team and reporting to the GS-CS Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for:Key Accountabilities: ​Source and report on operational invoicing mattersMaintain relevant sales databases in relation to invoicingSupport business process and automation improvements to effectively and efficiently deliver customer service solutions to the businessSupport compliance with Rio Tinto policies around invoicingSupport Supervisor in operational matters and help provide guidance to junior team membersBe the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and co-own the invoicing process with the supervisorManage individual knowledge levels, identifying areas for growth and development.Working closely with multiple stakeholders to improve the level of services and processes to meet the business requirements and maintain a positive relationship.Contribute to our Digital Transformation Program and ERP modernization initiativeActivities & Tasks:Generate invoices and prepare shipping documents for presentation to banks or to send to customers.Monitor shipment execution and ensure cash collections for the business units are met timelyExecute and run reports and procedures required for month-end activitiesSupport Data Analysis/Reporting activitiesExecute and run reports and procedures required for month-end activitiesLead audit and financial queries, when required.Support SAP projects and enhancements for CTC processSupport improvements initiatives with focus on quick-win automations aiming at enhancing efficiencyMaintain management reporting – keeping team reports up to date from both functional and data perspective and maintaining internal databases and systems.About youTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or CommerceMinimum 10+ years of relevant experienceIndustry and domainPrevious experience in Commodity/Export/Shipping Industry is desirableShipping/invoicing/pricing knowledge requiredSupply chain knowledgeInternational trade documentationSystemsKnowledge of SAP is a mustKnowledge of Salesforce, Incoterm is an added advantageAdvanced Excel skills​Power BI experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office suitesAdditional skillsGood command of English languageAbility to work well with various stakeholders and be a team playerProven ability to generate high quality reports and dashboardStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWhere you will be workingRio Tinto is a leading global mining and metals group that focuses on finding, mining, processing and marketing the earth's mineral resources.
