Backend System EngineerThe ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing large-scale, high-performance systems for consumer-facing platforms. Experience with handling high traffic volumes, managing complex system architectures, and ensuring strong observability and reliability is essential.Key Responsibilities:Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant systems to support high user engagement and low latency requirements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions, implement new technologies, and optimize existing systems.Developing and implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and uptime.Working closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy scalable data storage solutions, including relational databases and NoSQL datastores.Implementing real-time event processing pipelines using message queues, streaming platforms, and distributed computing frameworks.Ensuring adherence to company-wide standards and best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.Required Skills & Qualifications:Extensive experience with Java, Go, Spring Boot, REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and other relevant programming languages.Deep understanding of database concepts, including SQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL datastores.Experience with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka), streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Flink), and cloud-based services (e.g., AWS).Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), logging frameworks (e.g., Logstash), and alerting systems (e.g., PagerDuty).Familiarity with DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization, microservices architecture).Competencies:Distributed Systems ArchitectureReal-Time Event ProcessingAPI & Database ModelingReliability EngineeringMicroservices DesignBenefits:As a Backend System Engineer at our organization, you can expect a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
