Loads and Dynamics Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Finite Element Model development refinement validation and correlation to tests
  • Rigid and flexible body dynamics
  • Modeling simulation and verification of spacecraft launch docking and landing events
  • Acceleration shock and vibration measurement and data interpretation of ground and flight tests
  • General loads development for spacecraft and related ground systems
  • Support configuration development and trade studies
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical aerospace or civil engineering
  • 25 years of experience in the prediction/validation of low and/or highfrequency structural dynamics and loads in addition to finite element modeling
  • A solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals
  • Passion for spacecraft structural/environmental loads development/validation
  • Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physicsbased analytical methods (hand calculations inhouse tools and 3rd party commercial analytical tools)
  • Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
