Role Description Vitalpro Consumer Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sous Chef specializing in chocolate to join our team at 224 Craftery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The Sous Chef will work closely with the head chef and production team, overseeing the preparation of high-quality chocolate products. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing ingredient preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, and assisting in menu innovation and professional development. This role requires a balance of creative flair and organizational skills to deliver on our commitment to excellence in the art of chocolate-making. Qualifications Expertise in chocolate confectionery techniques, including tempering, molding, and decoratingProficiency in kitchen management, food safety, and hygiene practicesAbility to lead and train kitchen staff while fostering collaborationStrong organizational skills and attention to detail for ensuring product consistencyExperience in creating new recipes and embracing new techniquesCapability to work effectively in a high-paced kitchen environment while meeting deadlinesCulinary degree or certification in pastry arts or a related field (preferred)Prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, particularly in chocolate or dessert production
