Job Summary
We are seeking a Confluent Team Leader to oversee our team of developers and engineers responsible for building and maintaining scalable data streaming solutions using the Confluent Platform and Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data architecture and streaming technologies, combined with excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers and developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining data streaming solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
Ensure high performance and reliability of data streaming applications and architecture.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Stay updated with the latest trends in data streaming and related technologies, ensuring that the team adopts best practices.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, integration, and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience working with Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform.
Experience with other data streaming technologies and frameworks.
Compensation: Up to 15 LPA
