We're Hiring Technical Lead - Solar Projects at Renfra Energy India Private Limited

Renfra Energy India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Speed Team Group, is a leading developer in the renewable energy sector, specializing in wind and solar energy projects. Established in 2017, we are on a mission to provide sustainable energy solutions while driving positive environmental impact. We are currently looking for a Technical Lead - Solar Projects to oversee and manage the technical aspects of our solar power projects.

About the Role-

As a Technical Lead - Solar Projects, you will lead a talented team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality solar power projects. You’ll play a key role in overseeing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of major electrical and civil equipment for large-scale solar plants. Your technical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Lead and mentor a technical team, ensuring technical excellence in solar project execution.2. Oversee procurement processes for major equipment (solar panels, inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.).3. Manage solar PV system design and construction, ensuring energy efficiency and performance.4. Supervise the installation of power transformers, inverters, MV/HV switchgear, and protection systems.5. Manage structural design, civil works, and ensure integration of electrical and civil elements.6. Provide technical troubleshooting and support during construction and commissioning.7. Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, BIS) and maintain high-quality control throughout the project lifecycle.8. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors.9. Stay updated with the latest in solar technology, and contribute to process improvements.

Key Skills & Qualifications-

Education: B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in solar energy projects, with leadership experience in procurement, installation, and commissioning of large-scale systems.

️Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, power electronics, power transformers, inverter systems, MV/HV switchgear, and structural design for solar plants. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope) and project management tools.

Certifications (Desirable): NABCEP, PMP, or similar certifications.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
