Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate for this position will excel in their role if they possess both knowledge and technical depth about the industry. This is essential as they will be a central figure in the decision-making process, collaborating with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also oversee specific personnel.ResponsibilitiesExperience in plant & machinery department, particularly in high-rise towers.Erection, dismantling, maintenance & operation of Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.Methodology of equipment erection, operation & preparation of checklists.Controlling spare parts inventory & cost optimization, sourcing of plant & machinery operators, mechanics, etc.Responsible for generating local MIS reports to Mechanical Heads at HO/Project In-Charge.Maintaining site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep of equipment at zonal sites.Making budget estimates of monthly spares and running expenses for each machine, monitoring them on a monthly basis.Training concerned personnel, workers, and operators on safe equipment usage to avoid accidents/MIS-happenings and on matters of repairs/servicing to be followed, along with record maintenance.Ensuring optimum use of P&M corresponding to their rated productivity output.Ensuring minimum equipment breakdown and maximum availability at site.Making service schedules for each month based on hours/Kms running, implementing those strictly to achieve minimum breakdown of equipment's, machinery, and vehicles.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree or Dip.- Mech. equivalent experience.Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized skills.Strong leadership abilities.Minimum 10 years of experience.
