Field Operations (Solar / Renewable Energy) – Electrical Head Quarter - Kolkata, Project Location: East Nagaland (Full-time, Field-Based) Experience Required: 2–3 Years We are hiring an experienced Electrical Field Engineer / Solar Technician to support solar mini-grid operations across rural East Nagaland. The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and community-level support to ensure reliable renewable energy access. Key Responsibilities - Install and maintain solar PV systems, batteries, and inverters - Perform AC/DC wiring, troubleshooting, load testing, and preventive checks - Monitor system performance, record daily meter readings & generation data - Coordinate with local operators for smooth site operations - Assist in inspections, commissioning, and field documentation - Support awareness/training sessions during visits Technical Requirements - Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, cable termination, and safety protocols - Hands-on experience with inverters, charge controllers, and diagnostic tools - Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and identify faults - Proficiency in Excel for operational reporting Preferred Attributes - Experience in solar EPC/O&M or electrical fieldwork (2–3 years) - Comfortable working in rural field conditions - Hindi & English required; Nagamese/Bengali an advantage Additional Details - Shared accommodation at project sites - First relocation from Kolkata supported - Mandatory short orientation at Kolkata HQ Eligibility Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Experience: 2–3 years in solar installation, O&M, or electrical maintenance Compensation ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
