Job Overview:
The Head of Auto Leasing will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the auto leasing division within the company. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of leasing strategies, ensuring profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive leasing market, strong leadership abilities, and a track record of delivering results in a competitive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Market Analysis & Business Development:
· Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify new business opportunities, optimize leasing terms, and expand the customer base.
· Financial Management:
· Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the leasing division. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure profitability and cost control, while optimizing lease portfolio performance.
· Customer Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business partners, and external vendors, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Risk Management:
· Implement risk assessment procedures to mitigate potential losses, monitor credit risk, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards.
· Product and Service Innovation:
· Oversee the development of new leasing products and services, ensuring offerings are competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer preferences.
· Reporting & Analytics:
· Provide regular reports on business performance, market insights, and financial analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
· Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
· Ensure the division operates in full compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in laws that affect the leasing industry.
· Collaboration:
· Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align strategies and drive cohesive execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the auto leasing industry or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful leasing strategies.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of the auto leasing market, trends, and competitors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
