Our commitment to transparency, integrity, excellence, and leadership sets us apart as a reliable and trusted partner.Location:Bengaluru / HybridAbout the Role:We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the modernization of two core enterprise systems — an ERP and a KYC onboarding platform — as we transition them toward a scalable, secure, and multi-tenant SaaS model. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in Python/Django and cloud-native architectures with practical experience in refactoring monolithic systems, enabling multi-tenancy, and improving performance and DevOps maturity.Key Responsibilities:1. System Modernization & ArchitectureLead refactoring of existing Django-based applications toward modular, scalable architectures.Redesign backend systems for multi-tenancy, data isolation, and SaaS-readiness.Migrate from legacy stack versions to modern supported frameworks (e.g., Django 5.x, Python 3.12).Introduce service boundaries, API standardization, and async/background tasking models.2. Hands-on DevelopmentWrite and review production-grade Python/Django code.Implement RESTful APIs, authentication, and integration with 3rd party services (e.g., e-sign, KYC).Optimize database design and query performance in PostgreSQL.Introduce and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, regression).3. DevOps & Cloud EnablementContainerize applications (Docker/Kubernetes).Set up CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).Implement observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing) and automated monitoring.4. Security & ComplianceImplement secure secret management, data encryption, and access controls.Establish audit trails and compliance-ready logging practices (SOC2/ISO standards).5. Technical LeadershipMentor engineers and collaborate with project managers and architects.Conduct design reviews, code audits, and ensure quality gates.Translate modernization strategy into actionable sprints and deliverables.Required Skills & Experience8–12 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead engineer or technical lead role.Expert in Python, Django, DRF, and PostgreSQL.Strong exposure to microservices, multi-tenancy, SaaS architecture, and asynchronous task processing.Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and infrastructure automation.Solid understanding of application security, data protection, and compliance frameworks.Experience modernizing legacy monoliths into modular or service-based systems.Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.Preferred (Good-to-Have)Experience with Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ/SQS.Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).Knowledge of SaaS billing/metering, multi-region deployments, or data residency concepts.Prior experience in financial services / fintech / regulated environments.What You’ll LeadModernization of ERP and KYC applications into secure, scalable SaaS-ready systems.End-to-end transformation — from refactoring to deployment and DevOps enablement.Coaching and guiding engineers toward cloud-native best practices.Why This Role MattersYou’ll be the bridge between architecture vision and hands-on delivery, ensuring our modernization roadmap moves from PowerPoint to production.
