**Senior Modernization Architect Role Overview**: We're seeking an experienced Senior Modernization Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping modernization solutions and supervising delivery execution. As part of our Application Modernization Practice, you'll partner with sales, delivery, and clients to design transformation paths from legacy to modern architectures.This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to drive innovation, collaboration, and business value realization.We're looking for someone who can lead effort estimation, tool strategy selection, and transformation approach definition. You'll collaborate on presales engagements, assess legacy estates, and define future-state architectures. Your expertise should include mainframe technology (COBOL, DB2, CICS) and modern stacks (Java, Spring, microservices).This role demands strong client communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder alignment skills. A proven track record of success in enterprise application architecture and modernization is essential.The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, with at least 3 years in modernization. They'll be proficient in assessing legacy systems, defining future-state architectures, and providing architectural oversight during execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on presales engagements: assessments, proposals, orals, and business case creation.Design modernization paths from legacy systems (COBOL, z/OS, etc.) to modern stacks (Java, MSA, cloud).Lead effort estimation, tool strategy selection, and transformation approach definition.Provide architectural oversight during execution to ensure value realization.Participate in tooling evaluations and PoCs involving GenAI and automation accelerators.Mandatory Skills Description:8+ years in enterprise application architecture, with at least 3 years in modernization. Proven ability to assess legacy estates and define future-state architectures. Proficiency in mainframe tech (COBOL, DB2, CICS) and modern stacks (Java, Spring, microservices). Exposure to GenAI use cases in application engineering and code conversion. Strong client communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder alignment skills.
