Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our equipment leasing business. This role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in the equipment leasing and finance sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate banking, finance, and equipment leasing, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
Identify, target, and engage potential corporate clients for equipment leasing solutions.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
Explore new business opportunities in the equipment leasing market, including new industries and sectors.

Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with leasing solutions.
Conduct regular client meetings to understand their evolving needs and propose suitable leasing products.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment:
Conduct financial analysis of client businesses to assess their creditworthiness and suitability for leasing solutions.
Work closely with the finance team to structure leasing deals that align with company risk policies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to equipment leasing and finance.

Market Research & Intelligence:
Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the equipment leasing and finance sectors.
Gather market intelligence to identify potential opportunities and threats in the industry.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on market conditions and business performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.

Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within corporate sectors.

Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of financial products, leasing structures, and corporate banking services.
Proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, Power point and Business modelling.

Personal Attributes:
Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
