Role Overview:
As a Technical Lead specializing in Digital Twin technologies, you will be at the forefront of innovation, bridging the physical and virtual worlds. Your role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing digital twin solutions that enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and overall performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging Altair’s tools and expertise to create virtual representations of physical assets.
Experience - 7 to 10 years
Responsibilities:
Digital Twin Strategy and Implementation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital twin strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead the implementation of digital twin solutions across various domains (manufacturing, engineering, etc.).
Altair Tools Expertise:
- Utilize Altair’s digital twin tools and platforms to create accurate virtual models.
- Familiarity with Altair Smart Multiphysics, Altair Smart Manufacturing and Altair Smart Structures.
IoT Integration:
- Integrate real-time data streams from IoT sensors into digital twin models.
- Leverage IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, etc.) for seamless data exchange.
Design Thinking and Optimization:
- Apply design thinking principles to create efficient and scalable digital twin architectures.
- Optimize digital twin models for accuracy, performance, and reliability.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements.
- Lead a team of developers in implementing and maintaining digital twin solutions.
Required Skills:
Digital Twin Experience:
- Proficiency in creating digital twin models for different domains (product design, manufacturing processes, etc.).
- Exposure to all four types of digital twins: Performance Twins, Predictive Twins, Prescriptive Twins, and Exploratory Twins.
Altair Tools:
- Hands-on experience with Altair tools such as Altair Smart Multiphysics and Altair Smart Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Altair’s simulation and optimization capabilities.
IoT Knowledge:
- Understanding of IoT architecture, protocols, and edge computing.
- Ability to integrate IoT data streams into digital twin platforms.
Design Thinking and Best Practices:
- Strong design thinking skills for creating robust and adaptable digital twin solutions.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Additional Skills (a plus):
- Familiarity with other digital twin platforms (Siemens MindSphere, Ansys Twin Builder, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud-based digital twin solutions.
