Position – Assistant Vice President, Sales Operations
Experience – 10-12 years of relevant experience with an MBA from premier institute.
Role Description –
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Vice President, Sales Operations to lead our global Salesforce administration Team. This position is designed to leverage the full capabilities of Salesforce's Sales Cloud to support EXLs growth and effectiveness globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts/ Salesforce Administrators, implementing new solutions, streamlining workflows, providing actionable insights, and ensuring the system aligns with business goals.
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end Salesforce processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor Salesforce trends, capabilities, and best practices resulting from upgrades, product releases and acquisitions to ensure Industry Best Practice at EXL.
- Manage Salesforce initiatives and changes from conception to deployment.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate and document business requirements for Salesforce changes, ensuring a clear understanding of the business goals and objectives ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Translates business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria ensuring that the solution meets business requirements.
- Organize UAT Testing to ensure changes are deployed correctly in Salesforce.
- Create and execute change management plans to enable users on all Salesforce changes.
- Organize and maintain process and training documentation.
- Provide training and support to all Salesforce users.
- Assist with shaping the roadmap to elevate Salesforce to a top-tier level at EXL.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate sales performance.
- Ensure Data integrity, quality, and consistent metrics.
- Manage workload for Salesforce daily administration.
- Manage inbound queries and workload related to Salesforce and meet agreed service levels.
- Identify and track defects, work with appropriate teams for resolution.
- Increase Sales Reps' efficiency with accounts, leads, opportunities and time management.
- Lead, develop and inspire sales acceleration team.
- Work with Growth office on transformational projects.
Required skills –
- B. Tech and MBA from a reputed college
- Must have 5 years + of experience in Sales Operations, preferably working in a global organization.
- Must have managed a team.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce Administrator certification is required
- Salesforce configuration and development experience
Good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce coupled with a good understanding of Sales and Marketing processes.
- Experience with CRMA, Revenue Intelligence, Einstein desirable
- Experience with Project delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools
- Demonstrated experience of managing multiple stakeholders
- Proficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing and presentation skills.
- Passion for sales and customer success.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and metrics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
