Job DescriptionThe General Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting and collaborating with the LLE Mumbai & Gurgaon team to develop innovative MICE proposals that meet operating standards. Effective negotiation, time management, and multitasking are essential skills for this position.Candidates should be self-motivated, process-driven, and innovative thought leaders who can deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.Maintain strong relationships with key clients through face-to-face sales calls, telephone conversations, site inspections, and entertainment events.Manage and respond to RFPs/queries, utilizing established proposal templates to deliver exceptional client experiences on time.Meet annual sales, profit, and conversion targets in collaboration with the business lead.Share client contacts who may be potential leads for LLE.Research, Development, and Benchmarking of MICE ProductsConduct comprehensive research for new and existing products to adapt for the MICE market.Develop and compile proposed packages and teambuilding options in collaboration with relevant teams to create unique experiences for clients.Build a preferred list of MICE hotels, venues, DMCs, suppliers, and airline consolidators.Lead the creation of tour stories with guides to ensure accurate scripting.Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of properties' unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies.System ManagementProvide daily updates on tasks and projects to the MICE head and branch head.Ensure accurate and timely creation of new products and proposals within established guidelines.Collaborate with CS team members to update new and adapted MICE products.Coordinate with purchasing and branch managers for correct data uploading.Manage templates and maintain correspondence with MICE department brand guidelines.Continuously improve systems and templates for efficient team training and outstanding client proposals.Maintain and update lists of hotels, DMCs, vehicle service providers, airlines, tourism boards, and catering details according to company standards.Event LogisticsCollaborate with local and destination operational teams to ensure clear operational plans align with client itineraries.Create guidelines, manuals, and scripts for operational staff in support of MICE events.Monitor performance of hotels and suppliers in assigned destinations and report back to Regional MICE Manager on necessary actions.Deliver exceptional client experiences even in high-pressure situations.Support the team by working with admin personnel on large events requiring logistics such as ticket bookings, visa issuance, and hotel reservations.Communicate final details of confirmed bookings to the Sales Manager – MICE for contract preparation and client approval.Obtain client feedback after each event through verbal and written means (‘Thank You’ letters and guest questionnaires).Follow up on issues from previous walkarounds to prevent repetition.Ensure safe work practices during events.
