Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Technical Head with 10-15 years of expertise in product design, validation, and integrated testing breaking down to hardware, firmware, communication and mechanical artefacts for energy meters and EV chargers. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical capabilities to drive product development and ensure compliance with the industry standards.

Key Responsibilities


        1.      Design and Development

·       Lead the design of hardware, firmware, and mechanical components for energy meters and EV chargers managing the processes and people effectively

·       Oversee the development of industrial IOT-enabled smart energy meters and innovative EV charging solutions.

·       Requirement development and mapping and development management of tender

·       Use and development of automation and tools

·       Collaboration with technology partners

·       Design review and critical problem-solving skills

        2.      Validation and Testing

·       Understanding of customer requirements and establish and manage protocols for product validation and testing, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards

·       Analyze test results and implement necessary improvements to enhance product performance and reliability

·       Reliability testing for a 15-year lifecycle of the product 

·       Integrated testing with communication software, Android applications and command software under all possible field scenarios

·       Liaoning with Government and Private Labs

        3.      Project Management

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Projects, production, and quality assurance, to meet project deadlines.

·       Manage technical aspects of product lifecycle, from prototyping to mass production to Repair and Servicing.

4.     Compliance and Certification

·       Ensure that all products meet national and international regulatory standards, including BIS, IEC, and other certifications required for energy meters and EV chargers.

        5.      Leadership and Mentoring

·       Build and mentor a team of engineers specializing in hardware, firmware, mechanical design and product validation.

·       Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the organization.


Key Qualifications


·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related branch of engineering.

·       10-15 years of experience in the design, validation, and testing of hardware, firmware, and mechanical components, preferably in the energy or EV sectors.

·       In-depth knowledge of smart energy meter technologies and EV charger systems.

·       Strong expertise in regulatory and certification standards (e.g., BIS, IEC).

·       Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.

·       Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
