Role / Designation: Team Lead
Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in a TL role within IT services.
Prior experience in a client-facing role managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly preferred.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Science / Technology.
Job Location : Saltlake (Kolkata)
Certifications
Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma can be an added advantage.
Additional AI, machine learning, or data science certifications are a plus.
Other requirements
Strong English comprehension and composition skills. Preferably a CEFR B2 or above.
Proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, adapting quickly to new challenges.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving project goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Skill requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to solve problems effectively, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly.
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to apply them in a team leadership context.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software.
A commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and mutual support among team members.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following
Lead a team of annotators executing NLP and CV data annotation projects, ensuring high-quality data output for AI model training.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
Coordinate with project managers and other team leads to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that project milestones are met and that work is distributed equitably among team members.
Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain accuracy and consistency in data annotation.
Facilitate ongoing training and development for team members on best practices in data annotation and tool usage.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times for project delivery.
Resolve project and team challenges swiftly, employing effective conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
