Job Title:Senior Technical Support SpecialistOverview of the Role:As a senior technical support specialist, you will work closely with valued customers to resolve complex post-sales concerns. You'll provide expert-level technical assistance via phone, email, and web, ensuring that our high-value customers receive enhanced response times.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive technical support services to customers through in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.Meet or exceed performance metrics for customer satisfaction, including first-call resolution rates, average handle time, and after-call work items.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance, to address and resolve complex technical problems.Develop, publish, and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, user manuals, and other supporting materials.Provide ongoing coaching and training to junior team members to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and consistency in service delivery.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical support or a related field.Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE).Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.Advanced certifications in the field, such as CCIE/JNCIE/PCNSE, are highly desirable.
