About the Role:As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services in Accounts Payable and Expenses, both onshore and offshore.Main Responsibilities:Payment Systems Management: Manage payment systems in Barclays to ensure timely and accurate payments.Cash Flow Monitoring: Daily monitoring of cash flow to identify potential issues and take corrective action.Vendor Management: Ensure clear SLAs with vendors and make sure all vendors are paid according to terms.Employee Support: Ensure clear SLAs with staff and make sure all staff are paid according to terms.HR Memo Payment: Ensure HR memos are paid on time.Aged Creditors Management: Analyze, report, and manage aged creditors, and debit balances to ensure compliance with legislation and internal controls.Journal Entries: Ensure accurate journal entries required into the GL.Bank Reconciliation: Weekly bank reconciliation and balance reconciliations for all payments being made and received.Issue Resolution: Support management in resolution of routine issues/queries, ensuring escalation where necessary.Stakeholder Relationships: Manage stakeholder relationships and act on escalation.Project Support: Provide general support to facilitate the implementation of projects as and when necessary.Policies and Procedures: Support in the review, creation, and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and relevance.Customer Service: Support and resolve customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.Operational Guidelines: Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, MUFG's standard procedures, and local regulations and assess the impact on the daily operations workflow.Teamwork and Collaboration: Work in partnership with the wider team for information sharing and to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.Developmental Projects: To support developmental projects relating to the Department.Required Skills and Qualifications:Oracle EBS or Financials CloudUnderstanding of Accounting ImpactsAccounts Payable ExperienceMicrosoft Office Suite ProficiencyExcellent Accuracy and Attention to DetailBenefits:Diversity and InclusionEqual Opportunity Employer
