Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our global team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of experience in a similar role and possesses a strong technical background. The role involves managing and troubleshooting mediation flows in a telecom environment, supporting customers on mediation-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.


Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage the processing flow within the Ericsson Multi Mediation system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, code bugs related problems related with mediation processes
  • Provide support to customers regarding mediation issues, activities, and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and resolve issues
  • Document support processes and procedures
  • Develop the code to integrate new flows with upstream and downstream systems
  • Integrate and configure Ericsson EMM nodes with core network platforms like MSC, GGSN, IMS, etc. and BSS upstream systems (Billing and Charging Systems, Datawarehouse, DMP, etc.)


Required Skills

  • 6-8 years of experience with mediation systems, preferably Ericsson Multi Mediation, including integrating and configuring Ericsson EMM nodes with core network platforms like MSC, GGSN, IMS, etc. and BSS upstream systems (Billing and Charging Systems, Datawarehouse, DMP, etc.)
  • Proficiency and working experience in Java-based programming and/or DUP language
  • Good knowledge of Postgres and MySQL databases
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, scripting and Python
  • Handson Experience on Scripting, working with Linux/Unix
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies and Veritas cluster (a plus)
  • Knowledge of ASN.1 decoding/encoding schemes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving within a telecom context


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, or Computer Science)
