Statistical Programmer RoleThe Statistical Programmer will be responsible for programming all tables, listings and graphs necessary for an assigned clinical study report (CSR).This role involves creating customized data displays, including data listings, summary tables and routine graphics in accordance with the approved statistical analysis plan (SAP) and shell displays for clinical research studies.The Statistical Programmer will write code using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures or standardized macros.Key responsibilities include analyzing protocol, SAP, existing shells/templates to understand structure and content of data and performing data checks as needed to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays.The role also involves preparing documentation for programs, datasets and variables within, including derived variables and the project as a whole.A key deliverable of this role is the creation of SAS datasets of clinical data from clinical databases, status and efficacy datasets, project-specific macros and formats.The Statistical Programmer will load client data from other platforms and software packages and prepare data to be sent to clients and as needed for external transfers and data imports.Requirements and QualificationsEffective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to details.Capacity to manage multiple tasks/projects, prioritize and execute tasks and make quality and timely deliveries.Collaborative working style, effectively interacting with diverse organizational structures and dynamic clients.Self-motivation, taking ownership and striving for quality and efficiency.As a result, you should be able to work positively in a continually changing environment.
