Job Title: Business Intelligence AnalystWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This role will involve working closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights, robust reporting, and data models that support decision-making and operational excellence.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting analytics, with experience working with complex financial data and building scalable reporting solutions.Key Responsibilities:Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and queries to support recurring and ad hoc analysis.Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with reconciliations, variance analyses, and operational reporting as needed.Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data models, data quality, and documentation across Finance/Accounting domains.Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.Ensure that reports and analyses adhere to controls, data governance, and audit/SOX requirements where applicable.Required Qualifications:5+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role.Strong hands-on expertise with SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI.Demonstrated experience working with Finance or Accounting data.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive to actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting a FP&A, Controllership, or Accounting team in a high-growth environment.Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and modern data stacks.Basic proficiency in Python or R or advanced analytics, if needed.Personal Attributes:High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Curious and proactive approach to improving processes and building scalable solutions.
