This includes contract manufacturing, factory management, production planning, and vendor relationships.About this roleThis is a key position that requires coordination with contract manufacturers, monitoring quality standards, negotiating agreements, overseeing factory operations, managing budgets, conducting stock-taking, maintaining inventory records, developing production schedules, executing plans, identifying vendors, and implementing process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Manufacturing ManagementCoordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery.Monitor adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.Negotiate and manage agreements with third-party manufacturers.Factory OperationsOversee day-to-day factory operations for efficiency and productivity.Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and statutory requirements.CapEx & OpEx PlanningPrepare and manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operational Expenditure (OpEx) budgets.Track and report variances against approved budgets.Inventory & Stock ManagementConduct periodic stock-taking and reconciliation.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels.Production Planning & ExecutionDevelop production schedules based on demand forecasts.Monitor execution to meet timelines and minimize downtime.Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for raw materials and packaging.Maintain strong relationships and negotiate favorable terms.Process ImprovementImplement process improvements for cost efficiency and productivity.Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for management review.
