What You'll Do:

Network Monitoring & Reporting

  • ISP/DC/DR/MPLS/P2P link monitoring (hourly/daily).
  • Availability & utilization reporting.
  • Preparing & maintaining network device inventory.

Firewall & Security Operations

  • Firewall access management (DC/DR/MPLS/Cloud).
  • IP whitelisting, blocking malware IPs as per SOC.
  • Firewall rule base reviews.
  • NIPS/IPS log monitoring & signature deployment.

Device Configuration & Backup

  • Taking and restoring backups of DC/DR/HO/NDR network devices.
  • VLAN modifications on L2 switches.
  • Network device password reset.

Access & User Management

  • Domain ID & VPN deactivation for on-role/off-role users.
  • Admin access review & reporting.

Load Balancer Operations

  • Backup & rule configuration on LB.
  • Creating new application rules.

Incident & Change Management

  • Handling L1 incidents via mails/calls.
  • Preparing & implementing RFCs.
  • Coordinating with OEM for troubleshooting.

Cloud & Virtualization Awareness

  • Exposure to AWS & Azure firewall/security.
  • Understanding of ACI/AVS switch installation.
