With a spa, gym, and swimming pool, Merlis sets a new benchmark for refined hospitality, offering memorable experiences for both business and leisure travellers.Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Continental Junior Sous Chef to join our pre-opening culinary brigade. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European and Continental cuisines, with a focus on quality, presentation, and creativity. This role involves assisting in menu development, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest culinary standards are met across all outlets.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in developing and executing creative Continental menus.Supervise kitchen sections, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.Train and mentor junior culinary team members, maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment.Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards at all times.Manage inventory, minimize wastage, and support cost control initiatives.Collaborate with F&B and service teams to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.What We’re Looking For4–6 years of experience in Continental cuisine, preferably in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.Strong culinary fundamentals and creativity in plating and menu design.Team-oriented, with excellent communication and leadership skills.Commitment to quality, precision, and guest delight.✨ Join our talented culinary team at Merlis Coimbatore and craft exceptional dining experiences inspired by Continental elegance.
