Job Title: Inside Sales Manager

Location: Chennai (Hybrid)


Experience: 12-18 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing an inside sales team in the software services industry


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Establish a comprehensive sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to proactively adjust strategies and ensure competitiveness
  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and quotas

2. Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Oversee the generation and qualification of inbound leads.
  • Develop and refine lead qualification criteria to align with company goals.
  • Ensure effective follow-up on leads and move qualified leads through the sales pipeline.

3. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing inside sales team, focusing on achieving both individual and team targets.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to support team members' career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture within the sales team.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of inside sales representatives.

4. Pipeline and Revenue Management:

  • Oversee the full sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, ensuring high-quality and timely follow-up.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track, manage, and forecast sales activities.
  • Identify key metrics and analyze sales performance data to optimize processes and improve conversion rates.

5. Reporting and Sales Analytics:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Use data analytics to identify patterns, improve processes, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Expertise in CRM software and Lead Generation Tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt sales strategies in response to changing market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of digital sales techniques, including lead nurturing, social selling, and data-driven sales optimization.
