Orb Energy is a vertically integrated solar energy solutions provider specializing in photovoltaic systems for rooftop and ground-mounted applications. With a presence in India and a subsidiary in Kenya, we offer end-to-end solutions including manufacturing, system design, sales consultancy, installation, after-sales service, government liaison, and in-house finance. Our 250+ team members across 12 states in India work closely with SMEs to help them transition to solar energy through our collateral-free solar loans.
About the Role
- This is a full-time role for a Sales Manager / Sr Sales Manager - PV Projects at Orb Energy.
- As a Sales Manager - PV Projects, you will manage and execute solar projects, focusing on sales and business development in the Commercial and Industrial Segments in Kurnool, Anantapur, and Nandyal.
- This role is located in Kurnool, Anantapur, and Nandyal.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
- Partner with Channel Partners to identify and prospect new leads of MSME/ SME's
- Close the leads for a successful completion of Targets
Qualifications
- Prior experience 3-5 years in sales and business development selling Solar PV to Commercial & Industrial Segment in Mumbai
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic systems and solar energy solutions to SME/ MSME's
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
