Job Summary: Wissen Technology is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Business Development Director with a specialization in selling data engineering and analytics solutions. This role requires 10-16 years of experience in IT services sales, with a strong emphasis on driving new business and expanding client relationships within the e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data-driven technologies and the ability to articulate the value of data engineering and analytics solutions to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the business development efforts focused on data engineering and analytics services, identifying and acquiring new clients in key sectors such as e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans that position Wissen Technology’s data engineering and analytics capabilities as solutions to address the complex data challenges faced by clients.
Build relationships with senior-level decision-makers, understanding their data needs and aligning Wissen’s data services to help achieve their business goals.
Actively manage and grow key accounts through account farming, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within data analytics, data engineering, and related IT services.
Stay updated on trends and advancements in data technology, market conditions, and competitive offerings to effectively position Wissen’s data solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation, ensuring that data solutions meet client expectations and business objectives.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline by managing complex sales cycles, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals.
Provide accurate forecasts and regular performance reports on data analytics and engineering sales to senior management.
Qualifications:

10-16 years of experience in IT services sales with a focus on data engineering, data analytics, and related technologies.
Proven experience in selling data-driven solutions to enterprise-level clients in industries such as e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of data engineering, data analytics, cloud solutions, and related IT services, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to business leaders.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a history of driving revenue growth in data analytics and engineering services.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for helping businesses leverage data for better decision-making and performance.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
