The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic sales and business development professional to explore new sales opportunities. To be the right fit for this job, you must have a proven track record of identifying and closing new business. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Chase and close new business
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- Have strong sales personality
- Prospecting and lead generation including but not limited to phone calls, outside sales calls, community and industry networking, internet prospecting, engaging resources and relationships to generate new business
- Convert viable prospects into active clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or a related field
- 2 - 5 years of prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Track record of winning and retaining key clients
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct client satisfaction surveys
- Write and submit reports to management
- Formulate corporate decks to new business partners
- Prior experience of working with a PR/Media/Creative/Advertising Agency is a plus
