There's no one like you and that's why there's nowhere like RSM.Job SynopsisRSM USI is seeking a Supervisor for Deal Analytics team within our Transaction Advisory Services group to assist in developing and executing our business analytics offerings to our middle-market clients. We work with corporate and private equity clients on complex investmentdecisions that involve strong analysis, extensive data modeling, and advanced data analytics.Our Deal Analytics team delivers sector focused analytics that is targeted to challenge investment hypothesis, answer key deal questions on buy-sides and substantiate equity story on sell-sides.You will leverage your strong data and business analytics skills to enable our clients to execute their transactions while maximizing the deal value; this will ensure effective financial and operational decisions in a dynamic data-driven environment.Responsibilities:Execute and manage the data and business analytics process through all phases of the engagement lifecycleGather data, understand client's key deal questions and issues, and formulate pragmatic solutionsPerform and conduct set of analyses to support business and deal related processesPrepares detailed analysis of financial and operating metrics to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirementsUnderstand operational metrics (e.g., cost and risk profiles associated with multi-site, products, customer, and vendor portfolios)Maximize revenue and growth opportunities; devise go-to-market strategy through advanced analyticsWork closely with the client and the RSM Transaction Advisory team to design and implement solutions revolving around sophisticated data and business analytics.Lead and collaborate to develop strategies that address client needs.Manage expectation of service delivery, monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress and projected outcomesDemonstrate strong quality execution and deliveryProvide technical leadership to the analytics teamMinimum QualificationsBTech/BE degree with a minimum of 4 years of work in analyticsDegree in accounting or finance or computer scienceMS Excel (including Power Pivot and Data Model)Experience with data analytics tools such as MS SQL, Power BI or other BI/ETL toolsExperience in leading teams on projects focusing on data and business analyticsStrong analytical, project management, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously to meet tight deadlines and drive projects to completion – independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience working on live deals is strongly preferredExperience in advising clients from different industry verticals such as Consumer, Industrials, Business & Professional services, or TMTMS Excel VBA skills are preferredExperience with Tableau and/or Alteryx is preferredExperience of working in more than one country and/or multi-cultural teams with distributed delivery experienceExposure to Azure cloud environment is preferredKey Skills to Accelerate CareerStrong skills in critical thinking, problem identification, resolution, and process improvement.Evaluated as an exceptional performer in current positionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal team members and external clients of the firmDemonstrates willingness to invest time in communication with U.S. based teamsAbility to be a self-starter and to be confident when interacting with team members, clients and asking questionsAble to work within tight deadlines and take responsibility for getting the job done in a timely mannerPreferred industry experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, business services, or technologyAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
