JOB TITLE: Principal Engineer, AI
LOCATION: MUMBAI, INDIA

JOB ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Scientist to lead research and develop state of the art practices in the space of personalized recommendations, content discovery, and user experience for JioSaavn. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to integrate AI solutions into the platform. Additionally, the Principal AI Scientist mentors junior scientists, promotes best practices in AI, and stays abreast of the latest advancements in the field to ensure JioSaavn remains at the forefront of technology. Other key responsibilities include publishing research findings, contributing to strategic decision-making, and driving innovation to solve complex problems related to audio content analysis, user behaviour prediction, and real-time data processing. The goal is to leverage AI to create more engaging, personalized, and efficient streaming experiences for JioSaavn user base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive advancements and optimize search and recommendation KPIs by implementing cutting-edge, innovative solutions
• Monitor and develop best practices in AI/ML implementation across teams
• Stay up to date with latest research in space of AI and keep team aware
• Collaborate with product managers , search managers and scientists across different teams to improve processes and applying best practices.
• Mentor junior AI scientists
• Develop right MLOPS strategy for JioSaavn

REQUIREMENTS:
• Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics ,operations research or engineering with 9+ year of
experience
• Experience in AI Research and development and having published papers or patents in the field of AI/ML
• Experience in MLOPS implementations
• Exposure to latest advancements in field of LLMs and generative AI (desirable)
• Hands on experience with different AI/ML algorithms
