Role Overview :

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable backend solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services and systems.Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our backend infrastructure.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.Identify and address technical debt, and advocate for best practices in software development.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into our projects as appropriate.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in backend development with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar.Extensive experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message brokers.Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and leading engineering teams.
