CanadianSME Small Business Magazine is a leading publication dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Canada. Through insightful content, interviews, and resources, we aim to foster a strong business community by providing actionable insights, inspiring stories, and a support network for entrepreneurs.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Media Manager to join our team The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a solid understanding of social media platforms, excellent writing skills, and a knack for engaging audiences. As a key player in our marketing efforts, you will manage our social media presence, work closely with the design team, and ensure all posts align with our brand voice and goals. A content management systems (CMS) background is highly preferred, as you will collaborate with our content team to publish updates across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Collaborate closely with the design team to create and schedule visually engaging social media content.
Write clear, engaging captions that resonate with our audience and align with the brand voice.
Schedule and manage social media posts, ensuring content is published consistently and at optimal times.
Monitor social media performance, analyze key metrics, and report on KPIs.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and tools to ensure our strategies remain fresh and compelling.
Use CMS to upload and manage content, ensuring accurate representation of magazine content on digital platforms.
Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages and fostering strong connections with followers.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in publishing or media.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling captions.
Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with design, content, and marketing teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple social media accounts.
