Web Application Technical Support Specialist

Job DescriptionAs a technical support specialist, you will collaborate closely with the client success team to provide tier-2 support for software technical issues and work alongside the engineering department to debug and resolve these problems.Offer technical assistance to internal and external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team, primarily based in India.Support the QA lead with quality assurance activities.Troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal support from the development team.Engage with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root cause of their problems.Propose workarounds to customers when a fix will take time to be released.Deliver timely and accurate customer feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure the issue is resolved.Contribute to the roll-out of new applications.Provide support through procedural documentation.Manage multiple cases simultaneously.Evaluate and test new releases.Develop innovative ideas and out-of-the-box solutions for seamless operational processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).3-5 years of experience in tech support for web-based business applications with a mobile interface.Proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS, and browser-based debugging.Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.Knowledge of ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.Experience in texting and communication-based applications is an advantage.Certifications in Linux, Java, Web development, AWS are desirable but not required.Experience in using AI tools for daily tasks.A development mindset to scale into a developer with minimal training.Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Good written and verbal communication.
