Bengaluru.Position Title: Analyst, Business AnalystDescription:Business Analysts at Abercrombie & Fitch collaborate on and co-create features and enhancements to applications together with our product team, business stakeholders, experience design, and developers. It’s our job to simplify the complexity of new ideas so that teams can prioritize and execute toward a unified vision of the product's goal. As a key member of Digital Operations, your ability to understand and convey the big picture and break down the finer details of a new feature will enable and lead effective product delivery for our customers and peers across the constraints of scope, schedule, cost, and quality from concept to hand-off. Within the Digital & Stores portfolio, you will work on initiatives that introduce new and innovative ways to enhance and expand our customers' seamless access to our products wherever they may be whether it's In-Store, on our eCommerce sites, or through our Native Apps. The customer-centric nature of the portfolio is dynamic and fast-paced, and you will work closely with a cross-functional team of individuals who share a passion for digital experiences to deliver real business value every day for all our brands, globally.What Will You Be Doing?You will collaborate with teammates to collectively understand the as-is situation and articulate the product vision – you are the liaison that connects a team of business stakeholders, user experience designers, developers, quality assurance analysts, delivery managers, and scrum masters to manage a product backlog for continued software delivery, and one of the first people called upon to help troubleshoot blockers for the teamYou will partner with/support the Product Manager to strategize and advise opportunities to prioritize the backlog in a way that mitigates risk and optimizes the value delivered by the teamYou will facilitate and lead the team through refinement sessions to create the artifacts (features, user stories, etc.) that navigate the path to the desired future state in a manner that delivers incremental value along the wayYou will create and present diagrams/visuals (process flows, story maps) to accelerate the understanding, clarity, and alignment of the team and other impacted partiesYou will compose features and user stories that capture the purpose and value of a change with well-defined acceptance criteria to ensure fulfillmentYou will partner with other Business Analysts within the portfolio to learn, share ideas, uncover risks/dependencies across the portfolio, and innovate new ways to deliver solutions more effectivelyWhat Do You Need To Bring?3-6 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a retail or other fast paced environmentAn understanding of Agile software development preferred, particularly with regard to features, user stories, and acceptance criteriaDemonstrated ability facilitating discovery and refinement sessionsPrior use of JIRA required and visual collaboration platforms preferredAn inquisitive curiosity to understand the purpose, the "why," behind any decision or proposal and enjoyment for uncovering the root cause of a new problem or opportunityAn ability to connect the overarching product strategy to the team's outcomes, and the resilience and confidence to charge into ambiguity in an effort to bring clarity to others, and transform ideas into real deliverablesAn eye for prioritization, negotiating options, resolving conflicts, and obtaining buy-in from othersAttention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate communication between and among highly experienced business and IT associatesA practical approach to the day-to-day with excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of preparing for and rapidly adapting to changePersonal Attributes: Confident, Self-starter, Strong Work Ethic, Highly Motivated, Sense of Humor, A Winning 'Will-Do' Attitude, Team Oriented, Tireless Pursuit of Continuous Improvement
