Financial Collections System Specialist

Product Owner RoleAs a Product Owner, you will play a vital role in defining and governing the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our VeriLoan Collection module.The VeriLoan Collection module is a centralized collections and debt management solution designed for retail, SME, and corporate banking portfolios. Your primary goal will be to empower financial institutions to manage delinquency, automate collection strategies, improve recovery rates, enhance compliance, and reduce operational costs.Key Responsibilities:Define and Execute Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and go-to-market approach that aligns with bank collection priorities, risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and organizational objectives.Align Collection Module Development: Collaborate with internal teams to follow up on main product improvements and ensure alignment of the Collection module development accordingly.Own and Prioritize Product Backlog: Own, prioritize, and regularly update the product backlog focusing on high-value collections features such as early delinquency workflows, automated reminders, segmentation strategies, promise-to-pay tracking, skip tracing, restructuring workflows, repossession and legal collections etc.Translate Business Requirements into User Stories: Convert business, risk, and regulatory requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development, QE, and integration teams ensuring accurate translation of collection strategies into product features.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (sales, delivery teams, credit risk units, legal departments, collection teams, compliance, and client banks) to gather feedback, communicate changes in priorities, risks, and dependencies, and ensure alignment across all parties.Monitor and Improve Performance: Monitor VeriLoan Collection performance using analytics and KPIs (cure rate, roll rate, delinquency bucket movement, recovery performance, PTP adherence, agent productivity), and drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback and industry benchmarks.Actively Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and consistently serve as the voice of collection teams, risk departments, and end users throughout the product lifecycle.Assign and Track Ownership: Assign and track ownership of product and project actions, document dependencies and milestones for collections enhancements, and ensure accountability and timely completion across contributors.Lead Efforts in Data Security and Compliance: Lead efforts in data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and change management for financial institutions using VeriLoan Collection ensuring compliance with consumer protection, AML, data privacy, restructuring, and legal requirements.Represent VeriLoan Collection: Represent VeriLoan Collection in demos, implementations, conferences, workshops, regulatory discussions, and strategic meetings, and collaborate with Microsoft and ecosystem partners for co-selling and technical enablement.Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in collections systems, credit risk, debt management, or financial software platforms.Key Requirements:10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in product ownership, collections systems, credit risk, debt management, or financial software platforms.Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure services, decision engines, and integration patterns.Soft & Hard Collection Workflows: Strong understanding of soft & hard collection workflows, tele calling, field visits, stat card, restructuring processes, repossession, skip tracing and legal collections are required.Enterprise Banking Products: Prior exposure to enterprise banking products on Collections is mandatory.Delinquent Cases Classification: Knowledge of delinquent cases classification, allocation, collections strategies, strategy cost benefit analysis, PTP tracking, legal proceedings, collections related fee/charges etc.Agile Tools and Methodology: Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence and Agile methodology, planning, execution, ceremonies etc.Relevant Regulatory Frameworks: Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (consumer rights, AML, data privacy, write-off rules, restructuring standards).BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including Remote Work Support, Health Insurance, Care Program, and Online Psychological Support.Additional Benefits:Performance-Linked Bonus: Performance-Linked Bonus: Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed Enjoy a performance-linked bonus as a testament to your dedicationBirthday Leave: Birthday Leave, Because You Matter: We value your special moments Take the day off on your birthday and treat yourself.Global Impact: Global Impact, Cutting-Edge Tech: Immerse yourself in global projects with top-tier clients and stay ahead with cutting-edge technologies.
