Job Summary

The PMO / Business Analyst will own JIRA administration and product documentation across SwanSat Group. The role ensures business goals are translated into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The candidate will drive backlog hygiene, sprint cadence, release documentation, and reporting for KhetPe (AgTech), BhoomiSure (InsurTech), and SwanSat (Geospatial Intelligence), while enforcing delivery discipline and enabling cross-team transparency.

Candidate Profile & Skill Requirements

Experience:

  • 6–10 years in Business Analysis, PMO, or Product Ops, with hands-on JIRA and Confluence ownership.
  • Proven record in agile delivery cadences and maintaining high-quality product documentation.
  • Exposure to multi-vertical technology environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administer JIRA projects/boards: workflows, fields, permissions, automations, integrations; maintain data hygiene and standard usage.
  • Own product documentation: PRDs, BRDs, user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, wireframes, process maps; maintain Confluence spaces with version control.
  • Run agile rituals: backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives; ensure actions tracked to closure.
  • Build dashboards and metrics: burndown/burnup, velocity, cycle/lead time, blocker aging, and OKR alignment.
  • Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking business objectives → epics → stories → test cases → releases.
  • Coordinate UAT/QA: define test scenarios, manage defects in JIRA, validate fixes, and drive Go/No-Go decisions.
  • Prepare release notes, change logs, deployment checklists, and training materials for stakeholders.
  • Standardize PMO templates/SOPs: charters, RACI, RAID logs, and status reports.
  • Support RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation; align SoWs and deliverable definitions.
  • Collaborate with Product, SatAITech, Platform, Compliance, and Finance for estimates, dependencies, and regulatory-ready documentation (IRDAI for BhoomiSure, data licensing for SwanSat).
  • Enable analytics validation: write basic SQL queries, perform BI checks, and ensure requirements are measurable.

Core Skills:

  • JIRA administration: workflows, fields, automations, permissions, and reporting.
  • Requirements elicitation: PRDs, BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Miro).
  • Agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting with Excel/Sheets and basic SQL/BI.
  • Process mapping (BPMN/flowcharts), RTM management, and change control.

Leadership Competencies:

  • Clear, structured communication and crisp facilitation.
  • Influence without authority; ability to unblock teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational discipline, detail orientation, and follow-through.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred):

  • AgTech, InsurTech, and Satellite/Geospatial product patterns.
