Role Overview:
We’re seeking an Ayurvedic Product Developer to join our Gurgaon office. This role is crucial in formulating and developing Ayurvedic and general health products that align with our mission of delivering exceptional quality and innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Ayurvedic product development, a deep understanding of health and wellness trends, and the ability to translate ancient traditions into modern solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development:
• Lead the end-to-end development of Ayurvedic health products, from concept to final formulation.
• Design products using Ayurvedic principles and ingredients, ensuring synergy with Protein World’s brand ethos.
2. Research & Innovation:
• Stay updated on Ayurvedic research, ingredients, and trends in the health and wellness market.
• Identify innovative opportunities to incorporate Ayurvedic practices into global health products.
3. Collaboration & Strategy:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sourcing, and production, to align product development with market needs.
• Provide expertise on Ayurvedic formulations, ensuring compliance with health regulations and international standards.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all Ayurvedic and health products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality.
• Conduct trials and stability studies to optimize formulations and guarantee product consistency.
5. Market Insights:
• Analyze market demands for Ayurvedic health products locally and internationally.
• Contribute to strategic planning by identifying gaps and opportunities in Protein World’s product portfolio.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ayurveda, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years in Ayurvedic product development, preferably in the health and wellness or FMCG sectors.
• Proven track record in developing successful Ayurvedic products for domestic and/or international markets.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of Ayurvedic herbs, ingredients, and formulations.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Ayurvedic and health products in India and abroad.
• Skills:
• Exceptional research and development capabilities.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to innovate while respecting the authenticity of Ayurvedic principles.
• Passion:
• A genuine interest in health, wellness, and Ayurveda.
