A. Job Title: AGM - Accounts & Taxation
B. Reporting to: GM-Finance-Accounts & Taxation
C. Location: Kolkata (with potential travel to various locations)
D. Experience: Minimum 7-8 years
E. CTC: Rs.25.00 LPA
F. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in accounts and taxation
G. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and control the Accounts & Taxation department, overseeing the complete accounting and taxation functions.
- Lead and supervise the team in preparation and finalization of accounts.
- Handle tax compliances including GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and review MIS reports for senior management.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage internal controls and implement accounting procedures to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights to support business decision-making.
H. Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in accounts and taxation.
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in handling accounts, taxation, and audit processes in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, GST, and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
Note: Occasional travel may be required across various locations.
