H) Job Summary:

  • The Software Support Engineer (L1/L2) will provide technical support for various software products, primarily focusing on Linux Operating Systems. The role will involve testing, troubleshooting, and providing support for customers in a technical environment. The candidate will also be responsible for handling presales support, software maintenance, and ensuring that software products are compatible and operational. Remote support will be provided over web conference.

I) Responsibilities :

  • Provide software support for Linux-based products (testing, troubleshooting).
  • Assist with configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of software for customers.
  • Collaborate with the presales team to solve customer issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, test cases, and user instructions.
  • Provide remote support to international customers.
  • Test compatibility of software with existing systems and platforms.
  • Handle issues related to networking, firewall, and operating system policies.

J) Requirements :

  • Education : B.Tech/B.E, B.Sc (IT), BCS.
  • Skills : Linux OS, manual testing, software testing, VMware Horizon, Citrix XenDesktop, networking basics.
  • Experience: At least 1 year in software product support and customer handling.
  • Certifications : Software Testing certification.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
