Job Title: Mainframe System Administrator - OMEGAMON Suite ExpertMainframe System Administrators work at the forefront of new technology and modernization. They manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance.This role involves working with application, database, network and system administration teams to define monitoring requirements. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining IBM OMEGAMON suite.Your key responsibilities include developing and maintaining monitoring dashboards, alerts, thresholds and custom views. You will troubleshoot and resolve OMEGAMON-related issues. Additionally, you will perform regular performance tuning and health checks on the monitoring infrastructure.You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our systems are running efficiently and effectively. Your strong understanding of mainframe systems architecture is essential for this role.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseTo succeed in this role, you must have a minimum 5 plus years of experience with IBM mainframe systems and monitoring tools. Hands-on experience with OMEGAMON in z/OS environments is also required.A strong understanding of mainframe systems architecture including JES2, SDSF, SMF, RMF, WLM, CICS, DB2 and MQ is necessary.
