Job Description Job Qualifications - Minimum 7 years of exp in mainframe domain - Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Python. - Experience working with Mainframe z/OS operating system, including system automation and operational processes. - Expert-level knowledge of mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS. - Understanding of enterprise schedulers and batch processing systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Responsibilities - Interpret business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions. - Develop and present proofs-of-concept (POCs) to demonstrate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions. - Oversee the testing, deployment, and monitoring of automated solutions. - Provide support during deployment and hyper care phases to ensure smooth implementation of projects. - Offer technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. - Establish best practices for developers. - Collaborate with project managers and product owners to estimate effort and plan project timelines.
