Culinary Operations Leader

Job Title: Chef De PartieJob Overview:Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates all direct reports.Requires excellent food knowledge and a full understanding of culinary terms.Must be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes by maintaining quality and consistency in taste according to corporate instructions.Must be proficient in completing tasks, work efficiently and productively.Must be able to work in any section of the kitchen.Coordinates and supervises team members assigned to their section, assigns and delegates tasks accordingly.Undertakes recipe reviews daily, maintains recipe folders in immaculate condition.Responsible for follow-through on requests within their area of responsibility received from supervisors or managers.Controls production levels, recommends improvements, and better cost controlling.Reports discrepancies to immediate supervisors.Oversees main sections (Sauce, Entremetier, Fish, Roast, Outlet CDP, Tournant, Cold Kitchen) and entire food production.Maintains Public Health standards and expectations.Ensures HACCP program is carried out correctly.Maintains their assigned area in preparation for announced or unannounced inspections.Reports for duty at assigned times, follows supervisor's instructions, and ensures personal appearance, uniform, and hygiene are in accordance with company rules.Qualifications and Skills:A minimum of 8 years in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banqueting service, with at least 2 years as Chef de Partie.Culinary school degree required.Strong management skills in multicultural environments.Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.Superior customer service, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of personalized service principles, needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.Intermediate computer software skills required.Familiarity with basic accounting principles.Ability to write reports and business correspondence and establish good rapport with Senior Officers and corporate office.Benefits:This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and develop your leadership skills.As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating a team of chefs, ensuring the highest quality dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced chef who can lead our culinary team and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional results.Our kitchen is a place where creativity and innovation thrive, and we want someone who can inspire and motivate our team to achieve their best.Why You'll Thrive Here:• Collaborative Team Environment• Opportunities for Professional Growth and Development• Recognition and Rewards for Exceptional Performance• Access to State-of-the-Art Facilities and Equipment• Comprehensive Training and Onboarding Program• Competitive Salary and Benefits Package• Paid Time Off and Holidays• Meal Allowance
