Job Title: Industry Solution Leader - CPG Location: Noida Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10+ Years Industry Focus: CPGPosition SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished Industry Solutions Leader – CPG to drive the development and adoption of innovative AI and Analytics solutions on our proprietary 1 Platform. This role will be at the intersection of industry expertise, advanced analytics, and client engagement—helping CPG organizations unlock value from their data assets. The Industry Solutions Leader will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and commercializing industry-specific AI and analytics use cases - ranging from commercial insights/patient journey analytics to sales performance management, supply chain and market access strategies. A critical part of the role will involve partnering with our sales and client success teams to support business development cycles, shape client solution roadmaps, and serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.Responsibilities1. Client Engagement & Pre-Sales:Participate in discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business challenges, current state, and data maturity.Collaborate with sales and solution architects to define business use cases, target outcomes, and solution scope.Conduct competitive and market research to inform solution design and positioning.Support creation and delivery of client-facing presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept plans.Develop pre-sales collateral including:Client problem statements and tailored value propositionsFunctional requirement outlinesWorkflow/process maps and high-level solution blueprintsContributions to RFPs/RFIs, SOWs, and proposals2. Project Delivery & Execution:Translate client business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications for technical teams.Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and visualization experts to shape data pipelines, analytical models, and dashboards.Lead or support requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.Validate outputs against business needs through UAT and feedback sessions with clients.Manage documentation including BRDs, wireframes, data dictionaries, test cases, and SOPs.3. Industry & Domain Expertise:Bring domain expertise in CPG supply chain management, trade promotions, retail and consumer analytics, demand forecasting, and category management.Work extensively with industry-leading data assets such as Nielsen, IRI, retailer POS data, shopper loyalty datasets, and syndicated consumer panels.Stay informed on regulatory frameworks (FDA, FSMA, ESG), privacy compliance, and emerging analytics trends (omnichannel, digital shelf, dynamic pricing, DTC models).Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree in CPG, or related field.10+ years of experience in business analysis roles supporting CPG clients—ideally at a consulting, analytics, or digital services firm.Strong understanding of data & analytics lifecycle (from ingestion to insight) and ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.Experience contributing to pre-sales deliverables, proposals, and solution design workshops.Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior client stakeholdersExperience with Data-warehousing/Visualization tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Qliksense & Power BIExperience with CRM/MCM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce), and data models like OMOP or CDISCFamiliarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and agile delivery methodsMBA, MPH, or a relevant master’s degreeBusiness analysis or pre-sales certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Pre-Sales Technical Consultant certs).Core CapabilitiesStrategic execution & operational alignmentHigh-performance delivery & quality governanceTalent strategy & future-skills leadershipCross-functional stakeholder engagementChange management & transformation enablementAbout Polestar: As a data analytics and enterprise planning powerhouse, Polestar Analytics helps its customers bring out the most sophisticated insights from their data in a value-oriented manner.
