Technical Support SpecialistThe Technical Support Specialist will provide expert technical assistance to users via multiple communication channels as the first point of contact.Utilize monitoring tools to proactively address user issuesDiagnose and resolve complex technical incidents, requests or inquiries with a high degree of accuracy.Elevate unresolved incidents to higher support levels in accordance with established escalation protocols.Document all technical interactions, service requests, and actions in an IT Service Management system.Track and follow up on open tickets until resolution and closure ensuring timely completion.Develop accurate and detailed documentation of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and known errors.Contribute to the growth and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base and standard operating procedures.Identify recurring technical issues and propose preventative solutions to minimize future occurrences.Guarantee compliance with SLA requirements and deliver high-quality technical support services.Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance technical skills and optimize IT service delivery.Requirements:Superior communication and customer service skills with a strong emphasis on empathy and problem-solving.Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and partnership with other support levels.Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting technical interactions and resolutions.Willingness to continuously learn and grow within the field of IT infrastructure and service management.Relevant education and experience, such as a vocational training or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably Jira Service Desk.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
