Backup Solutions SpecialistThe Backup Solutions Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective backup strategies to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of business-critical data.Designing and Implementing Backup SystemsThis involves creating comprehensive backup solutions that meet organizational needs, including on-premise and cloud-based systems, disaster recovery plans, and continuous optimization for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.Collaboration with IT TeamsTight collaboration with IT infrastructure teams, storage administrators, and security teams to ensure that backup solutions meet organizational requirements and compliance standards.Key Expertise AreasIn-depth knowledge of backup technologies, storage systems, and data protection methodologies (e.g. incremental, differential, full backups).Experience with cloud backup solutions and hybrid backup environments (e.g. AWS S3, Azure Backup).Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) and the challenges associated with backing up virtualized environments.Knowledge of data security and encryption standards, as well as compliance regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.Troubleshooting and AutomationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to backup and recovery issues.Scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) to automate backup tasks and processes.About This RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge backup solutions that drive business success.Key Responsibilities- Design and implement comprehensive backup strategies that meet organizational needs- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure backup solutions meet requirements and compliance standards- Develop in-depth knowledge of backup technologies, storage systems, and data protection methodologies- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backup and recoveryWhat We OfferA dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and growth, competitive compensation and benefits package, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
